Accounts Receivable Specialist

Grain Millers, Inc. is a leading provider of whole grain ingredients used in cereals, breads, bars, snacks and many other food products throughout North America. Proudly we have had no layoffs in our 35+ year history. Currently we are looking for an A/R Specialist to work Monday thru Friday. Position Summary

The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for the efficient operation of the accounts receivable and a variety of duties and task relating to inventory.

Essential Job Functions

• Prepare and process accurate invoicing
• Perform a variety of task related to the preparation of accurate paperwork for invoicing
• Process daily deposits
• Communicate with sister companies regarding AR payments
• Communicate with Corp. any aged AR issues
• Preform month end reconciliation
• Maintain AR spreadsheets
• Perform a variety of tasks as requested by your supervisor

Essential Qualification

• 2-year accounting degree or 5 years equivalent experience in AP or AR
• An understanding of accounting and its operations
• Ability to function effectively as a member of a team
• Proficient at Microsoft Office
• Ability to operate a variety of office equipment
• Interpersonal skills to represent GMI positively in dealing with customers and co-workers
• Ability to think and act independently within guidelines.
• Must maintain confidentiality
• Must present a professional, business-like appearance and manner
